2 Nagios Machines, 1 Nagios Front End need to use 1 Config

Is it possible for 2 Nagios machines to run from 1 Config file?
So I can administer from 1 machine?

My config will become rather large so I dont want to have to double up each time i add or manage a host??

You can specify individual object config files as shown below:

cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/contactgroups.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/commands.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/contacttemplates.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/hostgroups.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/hosttemplates.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/servicetemplates.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/contacts.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/timeperiods.cfg
cfg_file=/etc/nagiosql/servicegroups.cfg

Nagios isn’t able to do that on its’ own.

I think somebody had an active/passive configuration with automatic configuration replication scripts.
