Access problems after upgrade to 3.1.2

Upgraded from 3.1.2 from 3.0.6 using the following instructions:
nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/ … l#nagios3x

Now I cannot access “http:///nagios” with localhost being the server where Nagios is installed.

When trying to access the site, it prompts to download the following file

Nagios
unknown file format 768K

It seems it is [application/x-httpd-php] file.

Help please

looks like your apache server isn’t configured for PHP.
The package managers of almost every distribution have some php package.

Installed libapache2-mod-php5
Restarted Apache
Changed link to ](http://)/nagios/index.php

Works now.
Thanks Luca

you may still have the html pages around, if you rename them so they are called index.bak or something which is NOT html, htm or php it should go autmoatically to index.php. (i think they can be deleted but if it doens’t work it’s better to be able to go back :stuck_out_tongue: )

Thanks for the update
