Never mind, I did a clean and than make. Thought I had done that. Must have been something left over.

I can’t seem to find this referenced anywhere.
I had nagios 2.x installed. I upgraded to nagios 3.0.6. I copied over the new nagios.cfg over and configured it the way I needed.
I am on FreeBSD 7.0.
Now when I try to start nagios (/usr/local/etc/rc.d/nagios start) I simply get:
Starting nagios
Bus error.
The log file says nothing (except that nagios is starting).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn’t help.
Does anyone have any ideas how to figure out exactly what this error is?
Perhaps one of my configuration files is causing this, since they were designed for the 2.x version? Nagios passes them, but maybe it is missing a parameter format or something?
Thanks
Brian
