Cannot Access Nagios using IP Address

Hi All,

I have successfully installed Nagios 3.2 on CentOS 5.4 , and can access it using the “http://localhost/nagios” using the appropriate nagiosadmin credentials, but cannot access the same interface using the “http://IPADDRESS/nagios” or “http://HOSTNAME/nagios” …

I can see that the apache server is running on 0.0.0.0:80 using the netstat command, but still I cannot access the interface using the IPADDRESS. Could you please tell me if I need to change something in the web configuration for me to access the NAGIOS interface using the IPADDRESS ?

I can’t even access any other file (say index.html) which I created in the “/var/www/html” (default location for pages for apache) using the IPADDRESS , but can access the same thing using the IPADDRESS and HOSTNAME from the local machine (on which CENTOS is installed)…

Let me know if you need any other information, would appreciate a quick response.

Do you have a firewall installed on the server?
check SELinux too.
