check_mrtgtraf: Unable to open MRTG log file

Hi Guys,

I’m currently receiving this error after adding a service to a host. Can’t seem to figure it out. Anybody have any suggestions??

Make sure that the log file is readable by the nagios user or whatever user the nagios process is run by.

I’ve created the mrtg directory, set permissions and no log file is ever created. i went back again and open permissions well more than they should be and still no log file. got any ideas?
