I am currently solving one particular problem. I need to monitor a windows server, which is completely sealed from the world via a windows gateway. I am aware that I can set up the sort-of NRPE proxy on the gateway, and monitor the inside server via it, but I am consistently unsuccessful in finding an equivalent of check_nt or check_nrpe, which would run under Windows Server 2003. Does anything like that exist? Or, in emergency, has an attempt to compile it from sources under windows a chance of success?
