Checking a Windows Virtual Server with Nagios

Do any of you know of any issues that may arise when trying to check various statistics on a Windows Virtual Server? One of our virtual servers had its NIC die (How a virtual NIC dies is beyond me…the “real” host NIC was fine) so we need to monitor the virtual server separately from the host.

Can I do all scans on a virtual server that I can on a “hard” server? What would need to be different?

LoL at a died virtual NIC :expressionless: seriously… how did that died…

Besides that. you can check allmost all statistic’s to a virtual machine as a physical machine. for nagios it isnt any different (in combination with the nsclient++).
