Hi guys,
I am new to NRPE, but have used Nagios for many years. My situation is much like what is depicted here, in the introduction, section b (Design Overview). I will (hopefully) be monitoring remote Windows hosts via the linux NRPE proxy on-site, using my Nagios server on a remote VPS.
My question is, how is the proxy monitoring configured? The NRPE documentation isn’t very clear on this, or maybe I’m not comprehending it completely. Just looking for something to get me started in the right direction. I am successfully monitoring the linux NRPE host from the Nagios server now.
