I can use snmp to monitor an ipsec interface’s bandwidth, but I would like to be able to check the tunnel status of the IPSEC VPNs. There are check plugins for OpenVPN, but I cannot find anything for Open/Free swan. Anybody know of something or been looking and not foudn anything?
