Connection refused to a Windows host

Hi all

I am having a problem connecting to a windows host from my ubuntu installation of nagios. The windows host machine is running NSClient++ and I can successfully test using check_nt -v CLIENTVERSION which returns 0.3.5.2.
However through nagios I am only getting “connection refused”.
Does anyone have any idea, and which config files could I provide to help diagnose this?

"Nagios should be installed on a Server, not a workstation"
is what I’ve read… I’ve got the same problem as you, I’m going to setup a server and retry.
