Dedicated nic only for a client?

Hi,

I am currently stuck in the KVM network setup: I am looking for a solution to use a network adapter only for a KVM client. Is there a way to bind one nic especially to a certain client?

Hi there,

it does not seem that this forum is really read by somebody.

So I try to answer myself: There seems to be an option nic_passthrough that came in in September 2009. But I have no idea how this works for it is documented nowhere (as far as I know).

Maybe somebody reading this can help…
