is only problem I have left.
I know this must be done by root.
I #chmod +s check_dhcp
but still nagios user will not run it.
I try without arguments and also with -s x.x.x.x -t 5
and no luck either. is my argument wrong?

my checkcommand (plugins version 1.4 if i remeber right ) says:
$USER1$/check_dhcp --serverip $HOSTADDRESS$ -i qfe1
