Hi,
I’m getting a lot of info in my /var/log/messages like:
Jan 19 14:50:27 nrpe[9106]: INFO: SSL/TLS initialized. All network traffic will be encrypted.
Is there a way to disable this?
Regards, Patrick.

wauw … that’s a good idea … not!
But never mind, this is probably the wrong forum for these questions.
I’ve dug once a long time ago through the syslog-ng configs… so just don’t ask
You CAN do it there… or possibly in the nrpe config you could send the messages to another file but again, i don’t know how and IF it’s possible.
You may wait and see if somebody has the answer… but it’s not directly nagios… so it could take quite some time
This is indeed a bit off-topic, but that doesn’t mean we won’t take a shot at it… 8)
Can you share your current syslog-config with us? I am sure we can figure out how to reconfigure it.
