Could someone point me in the direction of a guide or walkthrough for installing NRPE on Freebsd?
The closest I’ve managed to find so far has been:

I’ve managed to get fairly far with that, but my system doesn’t have xinetd and I’m honestly not sure how to get that configured and running. Other guides have mentioned running NRPE as a standalone daemon, but I haven’t found commands for that either.
Any help would be appreciated.
