Help with first_notification_delay

Hi

I have one question.

How first_notification_delay works ?

I mean, i have one host where is set to 0 and service where is set to 10, but when service goes to HARD state, then notification is sent immediately and not after 10 minutes.

Could please someone explane to me why ?

Could you try leaving the definition out in the host definition? (default is 0 so it doesn’t change anything)
