I m jitender Rajpal from Itc infotech bangalore.
I m new to Nagios . I have installed nagios 1.3 ver.
Now i want to add some host to monitor , but i m not able to do that.
Is there is any procedure to do that ?
Any reply would be highly apperciated !!!
Hello and welcome to nagios, check the documentation for defining hosts.
you need to tell nagios what to monitor (and how) in the configuration files. These will be in the etc subdirectory of your nagios install.
Whileinstallign you should have done “make install-config” this command creates example config files in the etc directory.
