HI,
I’ve installed nagios on my linux machine successfully and got the web interface up.
I need to monitor our portal which is running on Jetspeed portal server and tomcat application server with mysql as the backend database.
I need to monitor the above processes and get the health of the system periodically.
Basically i want to monitor tomcat, mysql and some cron jobs.
How to go about doing it? Please help.
If somebody can give a sample monitoring macros (entire set) it will be great.
