Monitor MSSQL 2005 Database space

Im thinking of checking the amount of free space in a MSSQL 2005 database… Which is the best and easyest plugin i can use on nagios for doing this?

Does no one know how to check the available space in a mssql database?
I cant belive i am the only one trying to monitor this :lol:

if theres a freespace counter in perfmon you can use NSclient++… if not… maybe nagiosexchange can help you further :slight_smile:

have a look at http://labs.consol.de/lang/de/nagios/check_mssql_health/. The page is in german, but you should get the idea by reading the examples.

is what you probably are looking for.
