Is it possible to monitor devices on the DMZ of two different firewalls? The firewalls are on two different public networks, but the same private which is where my Nagios system is. So far, only one Firewall is allowing this. It happens to be the one that my Nagios cpu is using as its gateway. When I traceroute a device that isn’t working it appears to be going through the firewall and through the router to get to the other firewalls DMZ, which wont work.
Its almost like I need to setup Linux with multiple gateways (routes) to the Internet. But I didn’t think such a thing could happen.
Any suggestions?
