Nagios 2.0 missing configuration files

[left]hi everyone :slight_smile: my english is not good but i’ll try to explain

so … when i install nagios 2.0 everything is ok … including SAMPLE config files ( make install-config ) but other configuration files are missing :frowning:

contactgroups.cfg
contacts.cfg
dependencies.cfg
escalations.cfg
hostgroups.cfg
hosts.cfg
services.cfg
timeperiods.cfg

where the error :frowning: … do you have any idea where are these files ( they are missing in /usr/local/nagios/etc/ )

Those files are not created by Nagios by default. You either have to rename the cfg-sample files or write your own cfg’s.
