Is it possible to configure nagios to have nagios 2 running and submitting check results to master server running nagios 3? Are there any things that need to happen to achieve this? The reason I ask is that we are running nagios 2 currently. We want to upgrade to nagios 3, however we don’t want to upgrade all of our checknodes at once if at all possible. We want to update our master (where all results are submitted to) to nagios 3, and still have our nagios 2 check nodes report to it in the same fashion until they can be upgraded.
