I’m setting up nagios to run inside of a chroot jail. I run all software inside of a chroot jail so I’m pretty familiar with the process.
In the case of nagios, I think I see the need to have two builds/compiles for nagios. The first build is the nagios binary that runs from an rc script and the second build is for the cgi files and everything inside the jail. I could run everything inside the jail but in Nagios’s case I don’t think this makes much sense.
Has anyone documented the process or can help confirm the above? any other hints for running Nagios inside a chroot jail??
