Nagios installation FAQ

  1. We have installed Nagios on Fedora 6
  2. We installed NSClient++ on Windows 2003 server.
  3. We followed all the steps in the document for installation & configuration.
  4. But Still Windows 2003 server is not getting added in the nagios, we are getting the error as "Connection refused, could not fetch information from server.

Please suggest to resolve this problem.

Are you using the correct check? Last time I setup NSCLient you could use the check_nt check or check_nrpe. One will require a password and the config file needs to be setup right. (You can have both setup at the same time).
