Nagios notifications not sticky after restarts

Hi, I don’t know if anyone has experienced this but when we Acknowledge problems on a host/service and either “service nagios reload” to restart or HUP the service the ack gets cleared even when the sticky box is set. Is this usual behavior or should the ACK remain until the state of the service changes. Ideally I would like Acknowledgements to remain because we make a lot of changes here and there and its a pain to continue to get the same notifications after we already ack the alert. This is on Nagios 3.01 on RHEL4.

check the nagios basic configuration file… there is something about keep info between restarts something like that… can’t check now sorry. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the reply, found the issue in a service_template I was using. I did not have the retain_status_information bit turned on.
