I have an existing (and working!) nagios 3.xx install on my OpenSuse11.0 machine which I would like to monitor a Ubuntu machine (on the same LAN); problem is, I’m not very familiar with Ubuntu and not sure how to install just the bits needed for the Suse machine to talk via NRPE to it.
I see there is an Ubuntu installation guide but this goes into setting up the machine to be the main nagios server, which I don’t want.
Please, does anyone have any advice they can give on this - I’ve been trying to find a suitable link or HOW-TO via Google but so far without luck.
