Dear All,
First, I’m new to this, and I have downloaded Nagios 3.2.3.tar.gz, planning to install on my ubuntu 6.10 Desktop for testing, However, i’m wondering which linux kernel work best for this version? There is plenty of them, just asking is it every version of linux kernel as long as higher than 2.14 will do? As i know ubuntu 6.10 is running on kernel 2.17 by default.
besides, with this tar.gz file extension, how am i suppose to install it once i have extracted it on my desktop? Sorry, i am seriously rookie… Very much appreciated for any advice.
