Nagios + PNP4 circular holes in graphs

Nagios 3.4.2 / PNP4 0.6.21 / rrdtool latest version
Charts CPU, MEM, HDD, SERVICES draw properly.
So far, the graph TRAFFIC:

But, for some time there are circular holes in the graph:

why ?
