Nagios : service return diiferent status

i have a host with name : FTP and ip : 172.16.1.2
after one week i change ip to 172.16.1.10

My problem is : Nagios service now return 2 different state.
example : ping service - fisrt nagios return Host up (with ip 172.16.1.10), after a moment it return Host down (with ip 172.16.1.2)
all service of this host have same problem.

Please help !

stop nagios, run ‘ps -ef | grep nagios’, kill remainign nagios processes, start nagios, NEVER use ‘nagios restart’ again :slight_smile:
