Nagios setup questions

I am getting two errors in setting up Nagios on Ubuntu 7.04 Server Edition.

  1. Web interface gives me Error: Could not read host and service status information! when I try to go to anything under Monitoring, and most of the stuff under Reporting.

  2. When setting up and verifying windows.cfg file I get the following errors:

Error: Could not find any host group matching

Check your nagios.cfg file. In there you’ll find a listing of the config files used by nagios. It is seeing a different host/hostgroup def than the one you are editing. A common one would be minimal.cfg. Add your config files to nagios config and then do a test flight…
