NagiosQL install issue

Hi,

I know this isn’t a specific NagiosQL forum, but the NagiosQL forum is German (which I cannot read).
But I hope someone can help me anyway.
I have installed NagiosQL, but when I try to use it I get the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: session_start() in /srv/www/htdocs/nagiosQL/functions/prepend_adm.php on line 28

I have found this in the FAQ, but php4-session and php4-mysql are both installed and running.

Can someone help me out to figure this one out?

Sorry, but I"ve tried ONE nagios configure gui and it’s 10 times the effort to use, let alone to configure it. vi is not all that hard to use and by using vi, you can configure many times the amount of services in a fraction of the time spent on ONE service using a gui.

Is pear installed on the machine and was the library that nagiosQL looks for installed?
