I am rolling out a NagiosXI (2009R1.1H) instance on RHEL 5.5
I don’t want to upgrade to the newer version as we had some serious bugs on a test machine, perticularly with the GUI config mechanism and server load.
I have a problem where when making changes to the services/service groups etc. running the “Apply Configuration” command on the GUI, the DB does not get updated. I deleted some services, but they are still showing when I view service details on the home page.
Has anyone had problems with this? Or know how I can update these changes to the DB?
Manually applying the changes in the config files doesn’t help as the nifty new GUI based config commands over-writes any manual changes.
