Hi,
I’m planning to use Nagios for monitoring issues. Also I want to perform certain reports or queries about the data that is stored. I good solutions seems to use MySQL database to store the information and build an application to obtain the required data.
My question is simple, I understand that Nagios has MySQL support (during installation step you can enable this support) and also exists NDOUtils addon to export the data to a MySQL database. Why exists these two solutions? There are different in purpose?
