New-nagios plugin install

Hello all,
i recently installed nagios server/plugin into a fedora core 10.
i’ve successfully installed nagios-plugins-1.4.11 to a fc core10 client.
not not sure where to go from here. I found several instructions but
still unclear on how the client will talk to the nagios server.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to send passive service outputs from the client machine to the server or you want to have active checks from the server to the client. You should really get familiar of how Nagios works.
