How come when i disable notifications for a host check and then restart nagios the host check is somehow enabled again. If I disable the notifications for the services of a host and restart nagios the notifications stay disabled. Any help is appreciated…thanks.
Might it be that you have retain_status_information set to 0 for the host object (or maybe the template on which it is based)?
