I recently installed NRPE 2.12 on a Solaris 10 5/08 server. I was running for about 4 days when HP Openview process ovtopmd started causing crash dumps. This killed the server and HP monitoring for one of my networks. We recovered the server but my fellow admins want to point the blame to NRPE. 
Does anyone here have experiances with NRPE conflicting with other processes on a Solris 10 server??
