Hey guys / gals,
I am trying to install a copy of NRPE on redhat linux 4 64bit. I have installed this on similar servers no problem, but I can’t get it to go on this one.
Usually to install, i just do the normal ‘./configure’ ‘make’ ‘make install’.
It goes through the ./configure fine. But when I run ‘make’, I get the following.

Review the options above for accuracy. If they look okay,
type ‘make all’ to compile the NRPE daemon and client.

If the NRPE daemon and client compiled without any errors, you
can continue with the installation or upgrade process.
Read the PDF documentation (NRPE.pdf) for information on the next
steps you should take to complete the installation or upgrade.[/code]
Here’s some system stats in case that may help.
Redhat 4 64 bit
NRPE 2.10
OpenSSL 0.9.7a (installed via ‘up2date’)
I’m totally lost here. I can’t get this to take.
