Issue: Catering for host machines with system time ahead of nagios time. NSCA ignores host with “dropping packet with future timestamp”.
Possible fix: Change the NSCA code to ignore future times? What other options do I have?
Nagios OS (Ubuntu) is running NTP. Some host machines outside of our network don’t have NTP implemented and system time is beyond our control (client sites). Is there any way around this other than changing the NSCA code?
