Hello,
I have a problem maybe a misunderstanding concerning time perdiods and passive checks with freshness threshold enabled.
My configuration is as follows:
- check_period: daily time period from 06:00 until 23:00 o’clock
- freshness_threshold set to 1810 seconds
- passive monitoring script submits a status between 06:00 - 23:00 o’clock at 15 mins time interval
With this configuration I get at 06:00 o’clock a warning message created by freshness threshold which is reset to OK with the first passive check result a few seconds later.
I don’t unterstand why Nagios is not sending a first alert after start of check_period plus freshness_threashold? Why is Nagios alerting me as soon as check_period starts?
