Problems with webconf

Hi, I’ve been Googling for a while and haven’t come up with a solid solution to my Nagios installation problem. I am hoping someone here can lend a hand.

I am running CentOS 5 and WHM/cPanel. I am trying to use the “Fedora Quickstart” guide.

I got Nagios installed fine (or so it seems). There are some problems when I get to step 5 (make install-webconf). First of all, there is no /etc/httpd/conf.d directory (there is a /etc/httpd/conf though). Trying to get make install-webconf to work yields
make: *** No rule to make target `install-webconf’. Stop.
If anyone can give me a clue as to what’s up, thank you in advance. I would be glad to supply any further information you request.

OK never mind, I got it running now. Basically, creating a conf.d directory did the trick :). There is probably a better way to do it though.

Thanks for the post guys. Such an interesting read.
