I am first install nagios.I have very much questions !
First,Installation nagios needs those software?
Second,My operating system is linux as 3+apache 1.3.11,Install some software in need yet ?

I am install nagios as follows:
1、The operating system is linux as 3+apache 1.3.11
2、The necessary software is as follows
(nagios-1.2.tar.gz 、nagios-plugins-1.3.1.tar.gz 、imagepak-base.tar.gz )
3、install nagios,command as follows
#cp nagios-1.2.tar.gz /home
#cd /home
#tar

Error as follow:
[root@localhost conf]# /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios

check the docs, and check that youi installed following exactly the instructions.
