Reporting and archives

Hi folks,

I’m running v3.0.1.

I have logs setup to rotate hourly and the archive directory is specified in the nagios.cfg file. But when I try to build any report, it will only look at the current logfile and thus I cannot get any historical info from the reports. I know the data is in the archives b/ I can grep for it just fine.

Is there any other setting I need besides setting the path to the archives directory in order to get historical reports?

Hi folks,

Sorry, please ignore this thread. A co-worker setup a script to compress the archive files. This prevented the CGIs from reading them and thus the reports not working. Uncompress the files and it works great. :slight_smile:
