Services notification when host is down

Dear all,
I know it’s weird, but I need to continue to receive services notification email from Nagios when the host is DOWN. When the host is down, I stop receiving emails indicating that the services are too. It is this possible? If yes how can I make this configuration?

i think that requires some deep source code digging… :confused:
There’s might be some “internal switch” which could be used by recompiling…

Not that i know of (doesn’t mean there isn’t)
But i think it’s the first time i hear anybody wanting this kind of behaviour… I might add i seem to remeber somebody HAD this happening not wanting it… maybe tehre’s some chance… but don’t ask me what happened and why :-/

Yes, I met people in various forums complaining about this kind of behavior that did not want … However I could not get the technical details of how this was happening. This world is weird:)
