I am currently monitoring 200+ servers but would like to setup an interface for a client wherein he can monitor just one server and also create separate logins for him, how do i go about doing this?
PS: I have configured my servers in the hostgroup-wise fashion, i.e each hostgroup has multiple servers.
(I prefer using Cacti / CactiEZ for creating “views” for clients.)
In Nagios I have used Nagvis to create “views” for clients. This could be done very fancy. And it’s quite easy to set up a different login.
To setup the same thing “inside” Nagios is more difficult. You might want to check out:
