I simply want to check the rpm of a system fan via SNMP but don’t know and can’t find out how to do it. I would have expected a command such as ‘check_snmp!!!’ but can’t find a command to do this - can anyone advise?

Kinda depends on the unit, but .1.3.6.1.4.1.2272.1.4.7.1.1.2.1 is a RAPID-CITY mib that might work on your equipment.
