I receive traps with certain OID, lets say it is 1.2.3.4. These are all syslog traps from cisco switch. I want to EXEC something to nagios when variable $4 clogHistMsgText contains text “STORM_CONTROL”. When it contains the text, I want to EXEC /submit_check_result $r ‘storm’ 2 “$4”. Do you have any clue how to do this?
There is another trap, with that I can reveice nagios message “storm control shutdown” but with that I dont know the port where it occured.
