I’ve successfully configured nagios to monitor a particular service on 2 hosts using “check_cluster”. The service in the cluster only runs on 1 server at a time. I’ve turned off notifications on the underlying service on each host so that’s fine. What I don’t like tho is that the service on the host which it is not running on is being displayed as a CRITICAL alert in nagios. Is there anyway to not have these underlying services displayed in nagios? I’m sure it will confuse the operators.
