Way to use Windows Event log events?

Is there a way to use Windows Event Handlers in conjunction with Nagios?

For example:

Let’s say a Windows Exchange server dumps an error message to the windows event log about virtual memory becoming fragmented. Is there a way to use Nagios to monitor event log messages ?

if there’s a windows performance counter which changes it is possible with nsclient… if not you could try with some SNMP… not sure how else…

Hello !

I’m not sure if it’s possible to do using SNMP GET, but you can try using traps.

To configure which event you want to send traps, run evntwin from command prompt.

You just need to know the event ID you want to send traps.
