XL-1 vs. XL-1 Advanced?

Hi all,

Wiley X has both the XL-1 and the (newer?) XL-1 Advanced. Who can tell me what the difference between these 2 versions of the XL-1 is?

Got an answer from Shawna Cortez at Wiley X:

There were slight adjustments to the new Advanced Model that make it more efficient and sleek. However, they were only slight changes (mostly aesthetic).

One of the reasons I went for the XL-1 is the possibility to switch out the lenses with clear ones. After wearing glasses for > 25 years now, I know there are some situations where wearing glasses just comes in handy! 8)

I have the XL-1 Advanced myself now, but still haven’t dared trying to switch out the glasses… Is there really 0-risk of me breaking them, or the frame?
